StreamSetu respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws worldwide.
1. You Are Responsible for Your Content
You may only upload and stream content that you own or are authorised to use. Streaming copyrighted video, audio or music without permission is prohibited and may result in strikes on your own connected channels and termination of your StreamSetu account.
2. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe content on StreamSetu infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (e.g. the stream URL or account) for us to locate it.
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

4. Our Response
On receiving a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and will make a reasonable effort to notify the affected user.
5. Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent including your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, and your consent to jurisdiction. If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material unless the original complainant files a court action.
6. Repeat-Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances, StreamSetu will disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
7. Misrepresentation
Under the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
